These Einherjar Feast Sets have been beautifully hand forged using high carbon steel to achieve the iconic twisted shape associated with this style of utensil set, all housed snugly in a soft leather holder. Includes: Viking Knife, Two-pronged Fork, Spoon, Eating Spike & Soft Leather Holder.

Each set has been carefully handmade. Therefore, it is possible that there will be some small variations. Stamped with our logo as a sign of assured quality.
Please note: High-carbon steel blades are used for their durability and ability to keep a sharpened edge. However, like all carbon steel blades, they are susceptible to moisture erosion (rust) if not cared for correctly. Please oil the blade regularly, especially after use and before storing for long periods of time.

WHAT IS A 'VIKING KNIFE'?
This style of knife has been found across most of Northern Europe (and beyond), and often are referred to as "Viking knife", "Blacksmith's Knife", "Celtic Knife" and more. The simple design made them relatively simple design and only required on material.
The tang is drawn out and bent back on itself to create a, surprisingly, comfortable handle, which often incorporated a twist for added grip.
These would have been a staple of everyday life!
KNIFE CARE
Knifes are supplied with a small tin of our signature linseed oil and beeswax blend, as well as being treated before being shipped.
High Carbon steel is not 100% water resistant, and requires the regular application of oil (or our wax blend) to keep the knife looking its best.
