Vegvisir Wooden Candle Holder

This beautiful candle sconce is made by Thorsonns Workshop. It is made from reclaimed wood that has had a dark stain applied to feed and protect the wood. Carved into it is the Vegvisir.

Holds a single tea light. 

Vegvisir (Icelandic: Vegvísir, “That Which Shows the Way”) - The vegvisir is an Icelandic stave, which is thought to guide the bearer through rough seas. There is very little known about the symbol; however, the Huld manuscript states, “If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.”
