The Draugr Dagger has been hand-forged from a single railroad spike. The blade has been drawn out into a beautiful iconic dagger shape with two sharpened cutting edges, sharp point and central fuller. The handle has been masterfully twisted for added grip and is housed in a hand-sewn leather sheath. 

The knife has been finished with our signature Blade Oil and Blade Balm, which helps protect, aids grip, and enhances natural colouring. The sheath has been sewn by hand and houses the knife snugly.

What is a Draugr?

The Draugr, in Norse mythology, was a fearsome undead creature of Viking legend—an unrelenting spirit that lingered in its burial mound to guard treasure and strike terror into the living. Unlike ordinary ghosts, the Draugr possessed immense strength, a corpse-like form, and the will to haunt warriors who dared disturb it. Rooted in the sagas of the Norse, it symbolized both death and defiance.

Please note: High-carbon steel blades are used for their durability and ability to keep a sharpened edge. However, like all carbon steel blades, they are susceptible to moisture erosion (rust) if not cared for correctly. Please oil the blade regularly, especially after use and before storing for long periods of time.
