Freyja's Skeggox

Freyja's Skeggox has been beautifully crafted using the highest-quality materials. The head is forged from carbon steel to achieve the iconic "bearded" shape associated with the Vikings. The "beard" has been forged shorter than typical and features a specialist Ash shaft design for fine woodworking. This makes our Freyja's Skeggox practically sized for outdoor activities and hiking.

This axe is very similar to our Wanderer's Skeggox but features a larger axe head.

The shaft has been finished with our signature beeswax and linseed oil blend, which helps protect, aids in grip and brings out the wood's natural grain. Each axe is supplied with a hand-sewn leather sheath that connects with push buttons for quick and easy removal.

Please Note: These axes aren't heavy duty wood chopping / splitting axes. They feature a thin edge which is designed for cutting, Wood splitting axes have a thicker wedge shaped edge, specifically designed to absorb the impact caused by wood chopping.
