Surtr's Seax

Our Surtr's Seax has been hand-forged from a single railroad spike. The blade has been drawn out into the iconic broken-back seax shape, the handle twisted for added grip and a finger guard formed from the steel.

The knife has been finished with our signature beeswax and linseed oil blend, which helps protect, aids grip, and enhances natural colouring. The sheath has been sewn by hand and houses the knife snugly.

Each knife has been carefully handmade. Therefore, it is possible that there will be some small variations. Stamped with our logo as a sign of assured quality.

Please note: High-carbon steel blades are used for their durability and ability to keep a sharpened edge. However, like all carbon steel blades, they are susceptible to moisture erosion (rust) if not cared for correctly. Please oil the blade regularly, especially after use and before storing for long periods of time.
