Our Yorkshire Meads are produced by Shire Honey at a micro Meadery on the outskirts of York and are run by Pete Allanson, a 3rd generation beekeeper. He has produced mead since 2014 with honey from his bee hives in Yorkshire. In 2016 he gained two first prizes and a 'Reserve Champion' at the Great Yorkshire Show for his meads.
Our mead is made using 100% genuine honey. Contains Sulphites.
All our mead is made from sustainable honey and supports the protection of bees.
Any customs fees that may occur with items sent to Europe are payable by the customer.
Shipping, Returns & Customs
We offer FREE shipping on all orders over £100 within the UK.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on parcel size, weight and delivery location.
We aim to ship in stock items within 2 working days. Custom or handmade items do have a production time, please check the item description for these.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR NON-UK ORDERS:
The customer pays any customs fees that may occur with items sent to Europe.
Customs and import fees are determined by the customs authorities at the destination country, and may be applied once the parcel arrives in the destination country. Please check local import rules. We will NOT cover customs and import fees. Reshipping charges may apply where a parcel "wasn't called for", returned to sender and then reshipped.
