Bollock Dagger

This beautiful dagger (Total Length - 39 cm (15.3") has been crafted using the highest-quality materials. The blade has been hand-forged using carbon steel to achieve the iconic dagger shape and symmetry.

The Bollock Dagger has one sharpened edge, creating the iconic Dagger symmetry to achieve a sharp point. The walnut handle features a very distinctly shaped hilt, with two oval swellings which resemble male testicals - It's easy to see where it gets the name! The sheath has been beautifully sewn by hand, and houses the knife snugly.

This style of Dagger has one of the longest usage periods of any of the different types of dagger, being popular through Scandinavia, the British Isles and Flanders for over 500 years! (Approx. 1200 - 1700). Bollock Daggers were often carried as a back up for the sword of lance.

The knife has been finished with our signature microcrystalline wax and mineral oil blend, which helps protect, aids grip, and enhances natural colouring.

Daggers have been used for thousands of years, particularly across Northern Europe. In more recent times they are seen as a close combat fighting knife, however the shape appears to have links to pre Christian ritual settings.

Each knife has been carefully handmade. Therefore, it is possible that there will be some small variations. Stamped with our logo as a sign of assured quality.

Please note: High-carbon steel blades are used for their durability and ability to keep a sharpened edge. However, like all carbon steel blades, they are susceptible to moisture erosion (rust) if not cared for correctly. Please oil the blade regularly, especially after use and before storing for long periods of time.
